4 shot, 1 slashed outside Brooklyn nightclub

BROOKLYN - Four people were shot and a fifth person slashed during a violent fight outside a nightclub in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. 

Police released surveillance video from outside D Avenue, a sports bar on Flatbush Avenue where they say an argument broke out between two groups of people at around 3 a.m. Monday. 

One victim was shot in the throat, another was hit in the neck, the third was struck in the thigh and groin area, and the last was shot in the arm. They were all taken to Kings County Hospital and are expected to survive. 

A bouncer was also slashed in the back of the head when he tried to intervene. He initially refused medical attention, but has since sought treatment.  

No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
