BROOKLYN - A 4-year-old is recovering after being struck by a car Wednesday night.

Police say it happened at 10:30 p.m. on Avenue L and East 84th Street.

The child was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.

The child was with someone at the time, but there is currently no word on if they were injured.
