BROOKLYN - A fourth Brooklyn man is behind bars for allegedly plotting to recruit for the Islamic State.
According to federal investigators, Dilkhayot Kasimov was helping raise funds to kill President Obama, hijack a plane and plant a bomb in Coney Island. He faces charges of conspiracy and attempting to provide material support to a terrorist organization.
Three other men, identified as Abror Habibov, Akhror Saidakhmetov and Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, were previously arrested in Brooklyn and pleaded not guilty last month in the same case. They are all immigrants from the former Soviet republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Prosecutors say Kasimov worked closely with Habibov to raise $1,600 for travel costs so that Saidakhmetov could go to Syria and join the Islamic State militant group, also known as ISIS or ISIL.
The arrest of Kasimov comes just a week after two women were taken into custody in Queens. Police say they had embraced the radical views of al-Qaida and the Islamic State, and had plans to build a homemade bomb.
Kasimov is expected to be arraigned in federal court on Wednesday.
