BROOKLYN - Nearly 200 firefighters from 33 units responded to a five-alarm fire at a Brooklyn auto parts store today.

Authorities say the fire engulfed Danken Auto Parts on 4th Avenue in Park Slope at around noon. They say a four-story apartment building and another building next door were evacuated.

The FDNY says eight firefighters suffered minor injuries due to extremely heavy smoke conditions.
