BROOKLYN - A serious accident in Crown Heights has sent five people to the hospital tonight.

Police say a car tried to make a left turn at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue and hit an SUV. The SUV jumped the curb and hit three pedestrians.

EMS officials say that one victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital and is in critical condition. Four other people suffered serious injuries.

One female victim suffered a severe leg injury, and officials say her leg may have been severed.

So far, no arrests have been made.
