BROOKLYN - Five people were injured in a multivehicle crash Friday in Crown Heights.

The crash happened on St. John's Place.

A witness says it appears that one driver endured some sort of medical episode while going through a light and collided head-on with another vehicle, destroying the front ends of both.

That witness says the two struck vehicles spun out of control and struck a car parked along the sidewalk, pushing it up a snowbank.

None of those hurt suffered injuries that are considered life-threatening.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
