WILLIAMSBURG - A woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a school bus in Williamsburg.

The incident happened at the intersection of Division Avenue and Marcy Avenue on Friday afternoon.

Police say a 60-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was hit by the bus, leaving her bleeding on the street.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital while the driver remained on the scene. There is no word yet it there was any wrongdoing on the part of the driver.

The victim remains in critical condition. So far, no arrests have been made.
