600 BK residents without power after nor'easter

BROOKLYN - People all across Brooklyn began to clean up after a strong nor'easter swept through the borough yesterday, leaving many with downed trees and no power.

Con Ed says it is still working to get service back for the 600 Brooklyn residents who got left in the dark thanks to the storm.

A Con Ed official say the power outages were caused by heavy snow on tree limbs, causing them to fall on electrical wires.

If you need to report a power outage, call Con Ed at 1-800-752-6633.
