BROOKLYN - A 61-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being struck by a car in Bensonhurst. 

It happened on Cropsey and 21st avenues at around 8 a.m. Monday. 

According to police, the driver was making a right turn onto Cropsey Avenue when the woman was hit. She was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. 

The accident remains under investigation.
