BROOKLYN - Seven people were injured in a nine-car pile-up near Grand Army Plaza and Flatbush Avenue this morning.

Witnesses say the vehicles were all at a red light near the Brooklyn Library when a Ford Explorer attempted to drive in between two stopped cars. Witnesses say it was a domino effect with each car hitting the next.

EMS says five adults and two children suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. Passengers in one of the vehicles had to be pulled out with the jaws of life.
