BROOKLYN - Seven people were shot and three others stabbed during a violent day in the borough Sunday.

Police say among the incidents, gunshots first rang out at around 3 p.m. in Brownsville where two people were hit near 1843 Pitkin Ave. Witnesses say they heard at least six shots fired. 

Another two people were shot and 19-year-old slashed in the arm when a fight broke out at Highland Park in Crown Heights at around 5:45 p.m. Cops say one of the shooting victims, a 17-year-old, walked into Jamaica Hospital a short time after the incident. 

Police are still investigating and have not made any arrests in the cases.
