BROOKLYN - A 7-year-old is traveling across Brooklyn on a mission to provide meals for the needy.

Savannah Simmons created "Savannah Saves" after a homeless person asked her for money while out with her mom.

Instead of money, Savannah's organization hands out meals from a cart she brings around with her to anyone who may need some food.

"My next step is reaching as many people as I can and [feed] them," Savannah told News 12 Brooklyn.
