BROOKLYN - - A 70-year-old man has been charged for allegedly killing his sister, and wounding his niece in East Flatbush.

Investigators say William Thurmond fatally shot 63-year-old Carol Lovel inside the home they shared at 359 East 25th St. Tuesday morning. Lovel's 36-year-old daughter was grazed in the head by a bullet, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Thurmond is facing several charges, including criminally negligent homicide, assault and weapons possession.

Sources say that Thurmond shot the women because they were trying to evict him.
