Police say they found Dessources unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dessource's daughter, Myriam, said he was the best father in the world and requests that the culprit give themselves up.

He leaves behind three children, seven grandchildren and a wife of 46 years.

Dessources' wife declined to speak on camera.
