BROOKLYN - Several dogs that were malnourished and abandoned in a Gravesend home have had months to recuperate, and today they were reunited again.

As News 12 has reported, nine dogs were found on the brink of the death in the home nearly three months ago.

Thanks to the care of veterinarians, volunteers and new owners, the dogs are now looking better than ever.

On Saturday, the dogs were reunited at an adoption event at Rescue City. The event was aimed to spread the word about adopting dogs in need.

The person who allegedly abandoned the dogs was arrested.
