BROOKLYN - South Brooklyn residents may have a major commuting headache start on Monday morning.

Nine stops along the Manhattan-bound N line are set to close for renovations.

The renovations will include platform and overpass improvements, new stairways, enhanced safety features and upgraded communication systems.

Renovations are expected to last 14 months.

The MTA says when it it finishes with the northbound renovations, it will start working on the Brooklyn-bound stops.
