BROOKLYN - A 91-year-old man was struck and killed as he tried to cross a Sheepshead Bay street, and now police are trying to track down the driver who fled the scene.

Investigators say Milton Levine was trying to cross Avenue Y at Nostrand Avenue when a gray Nissan Pathfinder SUV hit him and took off.

Police say that while Levine lay in the intersection, a second car struck him, but that driver stayed on the scene.

Levine was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
