BROOKLYN - With millions of people hitting the roads for the holiday weekend, travel experts anticipate more people to travel this year than last.

According to AAA, gas prices lower than the previous Memorial Day weekend may be one factor encouraging more people to travel.

News 12 spoke with drivers, who say they expect heavy traffic, despite getting an early start.

AAA says airports will also be busy with travelers, while other modes of transportation such as trains and buses will likely be down.
