Abandoned house causes headaches for residents

BAY RIDGE - A house that was once the pride of a neighborhood in Bay Ridge has now deteriorated after being left abandoned.

Residents say the Queen Anne house has become an neighborhood eyesore covered in graffiti with no windows. According to the city's Department of Buildings, the house has received more than 20 complaints from neighbors.

According to neighbors, the house has become a haven for the homeless, rodents and neighborhood teens who use the house as a party place.
