BROOKLYN - A Broadway performer is passing on her talent to the next generation of Brooklyn residents.

Karisma Jay, who toured with the Broadway show "Stomp," says she founded AbunDance Academy of the Arts because she believes kids and adults should have a place to express themselves and fuel their passion for the arts.

Jay's students will be putting on "The Wiz" at the end of the month. The group has been practicing for weeks.

The production will be held at Prospect Heights High School on June 28.
