BROOKLYN - Three people were hurt during a car crash that took down a utility pole in Marine Park.

The accident knocked out power to the traffic lights on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue P.

Officials say at about 6 a.m. an empty school bus collided with an SUV. The driver of the SUV was sent to the hospital in serious, but non-life threatening condition. The bus driver and the passenger of the SUV were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

MTA buses were temporarily re-routed and service has since resumed as normal.
