BROOKLYN - A surprising summer scorcher brought temperatures up to 90 degrees around Brooklyn.

Many residents spent the day soaking in what could be the last burst of summer sun before the fall season sets in.

A heat advisory in the boroughs will be in effect until Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Forecasters say temperatures are expected to reach the high 80s tomorrow.
