BROOKLYN - An alleged bank robber was caught in Brooklyn just minutes after the crime Wednesday.

According to police, the suspect was seen running down the street with a ski mask and gloves after leaving the Dime Savings Bank on 13th Avenue near 50th Street.

Councilman David Greenfield (D-Brooklyn) says the Borough Park Shomrim and the NYPD were alerted, and they chased the suspect down.

Greenfield says it was the man's second day in a row hitting the same bank.
