Alleged BK gang members swept up in police raid

BROOKLYN - Police say 12 alleged Crown Heights gang members have been arrested on murder, racketeering and drug charges.

An indictment unveiled yesterday in Brooklyn Federal Court said the men sold crack and heroin on a one-block stretch of Sterling Place for more than a decade and are responsible for a number of shootings and slashings.

All the alleged gang members face at least 10 years in prison if convicted.
