Prosecutors released the alleged taped confession of the teenager accused of killing radio reporter George Weber, in which the suspect allegedly discusses what led up

BROOKLYN - Prosecutors released the alleged taped confession of the teenager accused of killing radio reporter George Weber, in which the suspect allegedly discusses what led up to the stabbing.

In the video, 16-year-old John Katehis says he didn't plan to stab Weber, but when the reporter produced a knife, a struggled ensued, and the knife ended up jabbing Weber in the neck.

Weber was found dead in his Carroll Gardens home in March 2009 with more than 50 stab wounds.

Katehis' attorney says his client was scared and tried to defend himself.

The defense and the prosecution are expected to give closing statements Monday, after which the jury will begin deliberations.
