NEW YORK - Anthony Weiner's campaign manager has called it quits.

Danny Kedem is credited with helping the mayoral hopeful get to the top of the polls, at least until his latest sexting scandal broke last week.

Weiner is reportedly left with a small, inexperienced group of staffers following Kedem's resignation. He’s still vowing to remain in the race despite pressure from some to step aside.

Weiner admitted that he continued to exchange lewd photos and messages with women online after leaving Congress in 2011 for the same behavior. A one-day poll conducted after the revelations put City Council Speaker Christine Quinn back in first place for the Democratic nomination.

The mayoral primary is Sept. 10.
