Antonio Owensword and Anwar Desouza arrested for allegedly raping teen and throwing her off roof

Police say the two suspects lured a 16-year-old girl to the roof of the building, where they raped her and then threw her off the roof. (7/20/13)

EAST NEW YORK - Police have arrested the second man wanted for allegedly raping a teenage girl, then throwing her off the roof of an East New York apartment building.

Police say 25-year-old Antonio Owensford and 26-year-old Anwar Desouza lured the 16-year-old girl to the roof of 725 Miller Ave., where they raped her. They then allegedly threw her off the roof. The girl survived the three-story fall, but she suffered injuries to her leg, arm and neck.

Desouza had already been arrested when Owensford was caught and arrested yesterday.

The two man are facing a number of charges, including assault, rape and attempted murder.
