BROOKLYN - Police say a teenager is dead and another has been injured after both were shot in downtown Brooklyn yesterday.

Witnesses say the two teens got into an argument and that's when shots were fired.

Police say it happened around 6 p.m. Monday on Dekalb Avenue and Flatbush Avenue Extension in front of Applebees.

They say 16-year-old Arman Hawkins was shot in the head and an 18-year-old was shot in the leg.

Both teens were taken to the hospital where police say Hawkins later died.
