BROOKLYN - An arrest has been made in connection with a case of disappearing manhole covers.

Authorities say Andrew Mordica was caught after they released a photo of two thieves last week, believed to be selling the covers for scrap metal. He faces several charges including reckless endangerment, criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny.

According to Con Edison, more than 30 covers have disappeared in Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens since March. Police hope photo will help them catch manhole cover thieves
