BROOKLYN - Police have made an arrest in a head-on collision that killed a Brooklyn man over the weekend.

Authorities say 26-year-old Beka Skhirtladze lost control of his vehicle late Saturday night on Avenue X and Ocean Parkway. They say he crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a minivan, killing 23-year-old Jamal Iqual.

Skhirtladze and his passenger were hurt, but are listed in stable condition. He faces several charges, including vehicular manslaughter.
