BROOKLYN - Police arrested Wednesday an 18-year-old Brooklyn woman in connection with a teen slashing last week.

Carina Bernard is accused of slashing the face of 16-year-old Shantayah Lewis Friday night. The incident occurred on Franklin Avenue. Police say Lewis and another teen, Shaquina Grant, ran back to their apartment after the attack.

Lewis is receiving treatment at Kings County Hospital.
