BROOKLYN - A new art exhibit that's on display in Brooklyn is spotlighting the children of men who are in prison.

The exhibit, titled "Incarceration of Dad," is being billed as a "voice for the invisible." All of the artwork was done by children and adults whose fathers are in prison.

It's the seventh year that a nonprofit group called Families, Fathers and Children has sponored the event. The group provides services to some of the 9,000 children in Brooklyn with incarcerated parents, and it also provides outreach in prisons.

The exhibit aims to provide an outlet for children who are coping with frustration, sadness and confusion, while raising awareness in the community.
