BROOKLYN - The plaza at MetroTech Center in Downtown Brooklyn is hosting a new outdoor art display.

The art installation, titled “Just the Two of Us,” features two large pieces of styrophome that have been wire cut and coated in fiberglass.

The associate curator for the Public Art Fund says German artist Katharina Grosse specifically designed the piece for Brooklyn’s public space.

The installation is a partnership between the Public Art Fund and Forest City Ratner companies.

It will be on display until Sept. 14, 2014.
