BROOKLYN - A new art exhibit in Brooklyn is reimagining transportation for its residents.

Brooklyn Utopias: In Transition Exhibit is bringing together 19 artists and community groups to offer up new ideas for urban transportation systems in the city.

These ideas include “Bus Roots,” where artists would attempt to put a garden on top of a bus.

Artist Marco Castro said he saw the roofs of buses that were typically empty and decided that they would make for a great canvas.

The exhibit will be at the Old Stone House until Jan. 12 , 2014.
