At least 7 people shot in BK last night

BROOKLYN - It was a violent night in Brooklyn last night, with at least seven people shot around the borough.

On Sutter and Ralph avenues in Brownsville, three men were shot. One of the men was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but died from his injuries. The other men are expected to recover.

Police also responded to a call of a shooting at the NYCHA houses in Lafayette Gardens at around 2:30 a.m. EMS reported that two people were taken to the hospital.

Another shooting took place on Shore and Ocean parkways in Coney Island. Police say a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg.

Officials added that there was a shooting in Bushwick overnight at Hancock Street and Wilson Avenue. One person was taken to the hospital and is expected to be fine.
