BROOKLYN - It's back-to-school time for thousands of students across the city.

Brooklyn kids, some more excited than others, marched into their classrooms with fresh clothes and new backpacks.

At P.S./I.S. 104 in Bay Ridge, young students needed encouragement as they embarked on their first day.

Many parents said it was sad to see their children getting older and heading back.
