Barclays Center gets artistic facelift

BROOKLYN - The Barclays Center construction site is receiving a facelift thanks to local Brooklyn artists.

Twenty pieces of super-sized artwork, all rainproof and by Brooklyn artists, are part of the Art Bridge's installation at the Barclays Center, turning the blue walls into a virtual gallery. The goal of the Art Bridge is to get the work of emerging artists in unprecedented places.

The Art Bridge, which will last through the winter, is 2,500 square-feet long and took six people two and a half days to install.
