BROOKLYN - Barclays Center is known for its high-energy sporting events and action-packed shows, but it also has a more relaxing component.

The arena has a newly unveiled mediation room available for people to reflect and contemplate.

The room is complete with comfortable chairs, soft lighting, a fountain and inspirational words on the walls.

Rev. Herbert Daughtry, the founder of the Downtown Brooklyn Neighbor Alliance, is behind the idea. He had requested a meditating space for community members while Barclays was being built.
