Barclays Center named top grossing U.S. venue; ranks 3rd worldwide

BROOKLYN - Barclays Center isn't even a year old yet and it's already the top grossing venue in the entire country.

According to Billboard Magazine, the Brooklyn arena also ranked third worldwide, only falling behind the ticket sales of two venues in the United Kingdom.

The center has hosted 183 events so far, including 51 concerts with big-name artists such as Jay Z, Barbra Streisand, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Mumford & Sons.

Barclays will celebrate its one-year anniversary this September.
