Barrage of bullets kills man, wounds three in East Flatbush

EAST FLATBUSH - A search is underway for the shooter or shooters who killed a man in East Flatbush and left three others wounded Sunday.

Police say a 28-year-old man died after being shot once in the torso at E. 55th Street and Glenwood Road. A 29-year-old man was shot five times and a 41-year-old and 30-year-old were each shot once, according to officers. The three victims are listed in stable condition.

Investigators seemed to focus their investigation around Island Grill Café Sports Bar and Restaurant. Neighbors say noisy patrons make the business a problem in their residential neighborhood. They plan to petition to have the restaurant closed.
