BAY RIDGE - A Bay Ridge nightclub has been closed and its owner arrested for allegedly paying his staff improperly.

Police and officials with the state Workers' Compensation Board raided 93 Lounge at around 2:15 a.m. Saturday morning and arrested owner Ronald Coury.

While police say the club has had issues with drugs and violence in the past, what ultimately caused the closure was Coury's alleged failure to provide workers' compensation to his staff.
