BROOKLYN - A Bay Ridge community group is at odds with the NYPD over what to do about an accident-prone intersection in their neighborhood.

Community members are calling for more traffic agents at 86th Street and 4th Avenue, but police want red turning signals instead.

According to the city's Department of Transportation, there have been 66 collisions at the intersection as of 2012, making it the second worst in Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights.

The NYPD's traffic enforcement unit told News 12 that it's looking into the issue.
