BAY RIDGE - Bay Ridge residents rallied today to urge the MTA to bring back the B37 bus.

The B37 line went from Bay Ridge to Downtown Brooklyn, but the MTA took the line out of service in June 2010 and replaced it with the B70 line, which only goes as far as 69th Street.

Riders say it's become more inconvenient for them to travel to Sunset Park and other places further north.

The R train runs along Fourth Avenue, but residents say riding the subway is difficult for seniors, since many of the stations lack elevators.
