BEAT Festival returns to Brooklyn this September

BROOKLYN - The Brooklyn Emerging Arts in Theater, or BEAT, Festival is returning to Brooklyn for the second year this fall.

Downtown Brooklyn, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Park Slope and Prospect Heights are the four neighborhoods that will host performances in theater, dance and music. Festival organizers say the pop-up performances will take place everywhere from the Brooklyn Historical Society to the Barclays Center.

Performances will take place every day from Sept. 12 through the 21.
