Bed-Stuy community demands answers after killing of 16-year-old Laquan Nelson
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - The Bed-Stuy community is demanding answers over the unsolved killing of a 16-year-old boy earlier this month.
Laquan Nelson was fatally shot on June 2 just steps away from the 88th Precinct. Witnesses say the police did not do enough to help Nelson and an ambulance took too long to arrive.
Community leaders are urging parents to take control of their children and stop them from bringing guns into their homes.
