Bed-Stuy community shaken by fatal shooting of senior

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - As police hunt for the suspect who shot and killed an elderly man in Bedford-Stuyvesant, residents in the community say they are still shaken up about the violence.

Neighbors say they are grieving after Wednesday's shooting that killed 79-year-old Andrew Burke outside a barbershop on Marcus Garvey Avenue.

Police say Burke was an innocent bystander hit by a stray bullet.

Officials are urging anyone with information on the case to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
