Bed-Stuy deli goes up in flames on Nostrand Avenue

A Bed-Stuy deli was destroyed in an early morning fire. Firefighters rushed to the Nostrand Avenue store at around 6 a.m.

BROOKLYN - A Bed-Stuy deli was destroyed in an early morning fire. 

Firefighters rushed to the Nostrand Avenue store at around 6 a.m. 

The owner says he believes snow and ice damage to the electrical system is to blame, and that $10,000 was lost in the flames, along with other goods. 

No injuries were reported.
