Bed-Stuy farmers market makes comeback from fire

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - The owners of a Bedford-Stuyvesant farmers market are not allowing a recent fire to stop them from serving the community.

The fire at Hattie Carthan Community Farmers Market on Nov. 1 caused $15,000 in damage, but many volunteers have chipped in to clear the rubble.

The farmers market reopened the same week of the fire and now the community is gearing up for the last day of the season this Saturday.
