BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - A water main break this morning in Bed-Stuy left residents on Chauncey Street without any water or heat, and people are still waiting for the water to be turned back on.

To fix the water main break, the state Department of Environmental Protection shut off water this morning.

They also went door-to-door to alert residents about the emergency, but many were still outraged about being told they'd be without heat and water for at least eight hours.
