Bed-Stuy store clerk slashed by customer

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - A Bed-Stuy store clerk who says he was slashed in the face by a customer wants to make sure the man is caught.

Mutaher Murshad says a man walked into his store wanting to buy beer with stolen food stamps. When Murshad refused to sell to him, he says the man left but soon returned to cut his face with a sharp object.

Murshad says he was attacked for just doing his job.

Police have released a photo of the suspect and are looking for help identifying him.
